Stewart Family Christmas Party

Every year when I was growing up I couldn't wait to go to my Grandma Norma's house and tell Santa what I wanted. Now we have this party at my Mom's and let's just say the family has grown! Here is Grace lovin Santa. Santa came and Grace was standing right next to him and made sure she was the first one to sit on his lap. I barely got close enough to take any pictures! Grace asked Santa for a Tinker Bell doll.
Sarah at least walked up to Santa. Grace was, of course, all about helping her. Sarah asked for a Diego toy.

Abi, well just being Abi. Who really know what Abi wants for Christmas! Hopefully Santa!

A family picture. Can you believe it? We never have any of these. Some of you are probably even wondering what Jamie and I look like.

This is the face I get from Sarah. At least in this one her eyes are open.

Do I need to say more?

This is when Grace declared that Sarah is getting too big for her to really do this anymore.
Thanks mom for a great party!

Mall Santa

The last few years we have gone to the mall to see Santa with my siblings and their kids. We ate at the food court and then saw Santa. He had a little bit of a lazy eye, but other than that he was great!
No picture of Sarah with Santa because she would not go near him.

Number 6

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0VJaM3mm5Y
I forgot a number 6 on my tag, so here it is. I absolutally love this Budweiser commercials that I hear on the radio. I drive a lot for my work and whenever I hear one, even if I have heard it before I just crack up even though I am in the car all by myself. I am not smart enough to put this up on my blog so just click on the link.

Tag

So I was tagged awhile ago to do this tag and never got around to it, sorry Jenny! And now my sister has tagged me to do it so I guess I really should. I am just really not that interesting but here it goes.

*Link to the person who tagged you (http://rushingreview.blogspot.com)
*Post the rules on your blog
*Write six random things/unspectacular quirks about yourself
* Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them
* Let each person you have tagged know by leaving a comment on their blog
* Let the tagger know when your entry is posted

1. I am copying my sister Heidi on this first one. I am also a picker. I love to pick scabs and pop pimples. Things of that nature. Jamie is always very nice and when he has something good to pop he lets me do it! Is that too much info?

2. I will sing and dance in my car like there is no tomorrow. I love it. My girls now do the same. It is hilarious. They love bands like Weezer, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Jewel.

3. I don't like medication. Weird huh cause I'm a nurse. I don't like to take any medication unless absolutally necessary. I just don't like the way it makes me feel and I feel like my body will somehow be stronger from fighting disease all on its own.

4. I am very easy to fool because I will believe anything. I always figure why would someone be lying to me?

5. It drives me crazy when lights are left on in the house. Thanks Dad.

I am not going to tag anyone in particular, but if any of you reading this would like to post the same on yours I would love to read it.

Abi 6 months

Our sweet little Abi is now 6 months old! I can hardly believe it, and I still have so much baby weight to lose. Is it still considered baby weight when the kid is 6 months old? Hopefully! Anyway, here is how big she is.
26 inches long
16.2 lbs
head was 16 1/2 cm.
She was 50% on pretty much everything. Which is weird because Grace and Sarah have always had really big heads, so I have just been waiting for Abi's to be really big. But so far not the case.

Noah's Blessing

So this last weekend Jamie and I had a little get a way to Logan for Noah's blessing. Noah is Jamie's brother's little boy. It was such a nice blessinbg and we had such a nice time! Here are some pics. Here is Abi with Noah. Abi is about 4 months older than Noah, but they are not far apart in size!
Here are the boys who participated in the blessing. No, my husband is not inactive. Just not a fan of staying dressed up for long, or at all for that matter.

Here is Sarah and Rachel at a festival we went to.

Grace on an old fashioned swing.

Abi enjoying the festival.

Rachel and Sarah in this cute old farm house.

Grace and Emily enjoying the farm house as well. When we were leaving they both announced that they wanted to be pioneers. However, I don't think it would be as fun as they are invisioning.

Here is the reason this weekend was so great! Big thanks to grandma who came and basically watched our children the whole weekend!

Sarah and her cookie, which she later ate by just licking the frosting and chocolate chips, YUMMY!

Grace showing off her cookie as well.

Grace being Santa's little helper by helping to sand the toys.

Gingerbread Men

Grace had her Christmas dance recital. They were gingerbreadmen. She loved it. We surprised her with flowers, which made her night. If any of you know Grace very well, you know she loves flowers.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. Jamie has declared this his favorite holiday. He said what could be better than getting up playing football eating a big lunch with one family, then eating a big dinner with another. Pie, and games later that night! It was a very fun day, and while sometimes it can be hard to go from place to place I am so grateful to have both of our families close! This is a picture of my parents and all of the grandchildren that were there. And no, Heather and I did not dress Morgan and Grace like that to begin with, by this point they had already gotten into the dress ups.
Here is Grace and Sarah with their cousins Emily and Rachel. These girls are such good friends. Emily and Grace are 3 weeks apart and Rachel and Sarah just 3 months. They have so much fun together.

Here is the spread at the Pruden household. There may have only been 6 adults attending this dinner, but yes there are 2 turkeys. One was a smoked turkey and I must say it was delicious!

Here is Jamie helping with the final preparations.

This is the smile I get from Sarah lately. Hard to get a picture with the eyes open.

Abi showing how much she enjoyed her sweet potatoes.
