Happy Birthday Grace!

For Grace's birthday we took her and 13 of her closest friends to The Mayan restaurant. It actually was better than it sounds! I am finally posting the pictures! These pictures are in no particular order, so sorry about that!
Here is Grace opening her presents, surrounded by her friends.
Here is Abi just lounging in the high chair.

Grace enjoying the show with her friends. And no, Grace is not turning one. Jamie did not notice that these hats were for a first birthday until we opened them at the restaurant!

Grace would not pose with the diver but did finally pose with the stick.

Grace requested a care bear cake.

This is us trying to convince Grace to pose with the diver for a picture. I wish I would have gotten this on video, but I was trying to get a picture so I wasn't holding the video camera. Her face stayed just like this for about five minutes while Jamie and I tried to talk her into it. She said nothing just a little shake of the head.

Abi enjoying some chips, isn't she adorable?

All of the boys sat on one side of the table and all the girls on the other. That is until Grace noticed where her cousin Cameron was sitting. She then requested to go sit by him. Cameron is very sweet and nice to everyone so he is used to being people's favorite. Grace has since commented several times how happy she was that Cameron came to her party.

Here are the kids watching the show.

Sarah giving me her wonderful smile.

This was the kids watching the show. At one point one of the divers came right up to the gate and scared most of them half to death. It was pretty great.

Grace and her wonderful cousin Emily. Emily drove from Logan for Grace's party. Grace loves her cousin Emily so much. It was also very windy, as you can tell from the picture.

Sorry that was a lot of pictures, but it really was fun and Grace had a wonderful time. Big thanks to Jamie's parents and David and Denae for coming and helping! We needed it!

The potty training that never ends

So I have been potty training Sarah on and off now forever it seems. It is just not happening. Part of it I know is my fault. I have just not had a lot of time for it. So I am wondering, does it count as potty training if all I'm doing is putting her in underwear? I try and sit her on the potty every now and then but really I am just accepting the fact that there will be a lot of accidents. Can this work? Any advice?
