Any of you with children out there, do your children pay special attention to commercials? Grace hardly ever watches commercials because she mostly watched kid shows from our On Demand feature with Comcast. However, I have recorded some movies from TV that she will watch. Today alone she told me that she wanted to buy Jamie Rogain for his birthday, she thinks she needs Ambien because she has a hard time sleeping at night, and she wants to buy some sort of berry water the next time we go to the grocery store. Also the last time we went to Costco she started telling me all about Oxi Clean and how it can get any stain out of clothes, carpet or even your car! I felt a little like I was listening to an infomercial.

Gym Culture

So I have started going to the gym this week. I am proud of myself because I have been everyday so far. I just have to comment on Gym Culture. It is so entertaining to me. Where do these people exist outside of the gym? I never see them anywhere else. I didn't know where my ear phones where to my ipod on Monday, but turns out I didn't really need them because the people there entertained me plenty.

1st REAL haircut

The ongoing problem of Grace's hair. Grace is now 4 1/2 and yes we are still trying to get her some hair! I have left it long in the back lately so I could put it up in pony tails and pig tails. However, Grace has decided that hurts her head so she pulls them out and her was just looking crazy all of the time. So I talked her into a hair cut. Before
After

Still not a lot of hair in the front, but hey maybe someday!

Doing what you're not supposed to

Grace never did this, but I think it is very common. Sarah attempted to put mascara on. I just love the look on her face when she came out into the kitchen. It's amazing how kids know when they have done something they shouldn't.

Pig Tails

Well today was a big day for my little Sarah. It is her first day having pig tails. I haven't tried them yet, because she still doesn't really have hair on top or up front, but hey either does Grace so I thought that we should try and I think they look adorable! She looks so grown up, I can't believe it! Grace of course then had to get in on the action too, so they both have pig tails today.

4th of July

We had a good 4th of July, the weekend before Grace got to be in a parade in Hyrum, UT riding her bike, she loved it. She told us not to walk by her because she could do it herself. On the 4th we went to my parents for swimming and some BBQ. Then we went to our house and some of Jamie's family came over for a fantastic street side showing of fireworks. Here is Grandma helping Sarah with the sparkler. This is Grace holding some sort of firework, I know it looks like it is going to push her off her feet, but she was ok!

I had to put this one up because whenever I try and get a picture of Sarah this is what I get, because she has to come right up to me and say CHEESE!

Here is Abi on the 4th, she slept through all the fireworks so this is the only picture I got. But just look at those cheeks!

Here is Grace in the parade, she looks so big I can hardly believe it!
