Vacuum
So I bought a new vacuum two years ago. The first year it worked great, then the last year it worked alright. Now it is completely dead. Does anyone have a certain vacuum that they really like? I thought about getting a Dyson, but my mother-in-law has one and says she hasn't thought it has been all that great. So if any of you out there have any recommendations my carpet would greatly appreciate it.

we have a dyson and LOVE it!! if you want to try it out you can. we got it at bed, bath and beyond and used those 20%off coupons, so it was $320..we got the $400 yellow one. its really great i must say.
I have a Kirby. I know, I am a vacuum brat, what can I say? If I didn't have the Kirby I would get a Dyson. I love the fact that you can dump your dirt after each session. It makes me feel fulfilled I guess. I know, I am lame.
We have a cheapie vacuum, but my parents have a Dyson and LOVE it. The Kirby is a large investment, but I've seen a demo using one, and they are amazing! My brother-in-law used to sell them, so let us know if you truly want to look into one, and he might have an "in."
Okay so I just had to buy a new one and did not have a lot of money to spend, so I did the research and found one I love! It was like $100 at bed bath & beyond- it has the best suction it pulls itself and has all the hoses and gadgets needed to get in little and awkard places. It is the Hoover Empower. Good luck!
I have to keep checking this b/c I have the worst luck ever w/ vacs! I'm on my 2nd one in a...year! I'm so glad we are back in touch! Facebook, Blogging, heck, we should make up a dance routine too! ;) Your mom has not changed a bit...she looks incredible! Please tell her hi! We should have a b-day party @ your house just for giggles!! Congrats on the new babe too!
we have a dirt devil that we got when we got married and it still works great. it may not be roger's favorite, it doesn't have any bells and whistles, but it's been through a lot and it still does it's job!
